Solve five words in order: 3 letters, then 4, 5, 6, and finally 7. You must solve each word before moving to the next. The word you're currently working on is outlined in orange.

• Tap a letter to place it in the next empty slot of the word you're working on — you only need to fill the blanks, never retype a letter that's already confirmed. Tap a filled slot to remove it.
• The Guess button appears once you've filled every slot with a real English word.
• Green — right letter, right spot.
• Yellow — right letter, wrong spot. Shows up as a small yellow box under the word.
• Black key — not used anywhere in this puzzle. A key turns green the moment a letter is known to be used somewhere, even in a word you haven't reached yet.
• Letters you uncover reveal or hint at letters in every word ahead of the one you're solving — watch for small yellow boxes under each word.
• A wrong guess only costs a strike if it doesn't turn up any letter you didn't already know was correct — finding a new letter, even in the wrong spot, is never penalized, but reusing letters you already know won't save you.
• Guessing the same word twice for the same step never costs a strike — you'll just be told you already tried it.
• Freebies — the three boxes under the keyboard. You start with one filled ✓ Freebie; a second unlocks after your 2nd strike and a third after your 4th. Click a filled box, then click any empty square in the words above to reveal that letter, plus the same letter in the same spot of any other word. Each Freebie works once. Clicking a revealed square, or a key, while a Freebie is selected does nothing (click the Freebie again to cancel).
• A perfect puzzle is solved with no strikes and no Freebies. Solving without Freebies gives the best result, however many strikes you used.
• You have 5 strikes for the whole puzzle.
Solving a word carries your unused strikes into the next one, but you don't get extras. Run out and the puzzle ends, revealing every remaining word.
